As an Associate Engineer in Product and Component Engineering, you will be part of the Space Electronics Instrumentation, Component, and Test Engineering group. Your role will involve contributing to the design, development, and testing of flight and ground test instrumentation for application on Aerojet Rocketdyne propulsion systems. This includes performing requirement analysis, providing design and development support, assisting in hardware fabrication, and conducting data processing of component/system tests. You will engage in various engineering support tasks for instrumentation hardware, including temperature, pressure, speed, vibration, and position sensors, while managing requirements and performing design trade studies. Additionally, you will work closely with instrumentation sensor suppliers to design, manufacture, and test flight and ground test instrumentation hardware, and perform instrumentation data analysis in support of rocket engine hot-fire testing and/or component testing. Participation in engineering process training and other professional development activities is also expected.
