The Associate Environmental Engineer will provide technical expertise in support of assigned processing plants, treating plants and compression facilities located in SENM and West Texas. Candidate will also evaluate federal and state regulatory applicability for facilities, assess compliance with applicable regulations, identify areas of concern and document corrective actions. This position is based out of the ETC office in Midland, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering. Disciplines in Chemical or Mechanical Engineer preferred.
  • 0 - 3 years of experience.
  • Experience through an Engineering internship, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products and Engineering Programs.
  • Good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Support cryogenic gas processing plants and numerous field gathering facilities in the SENM and West Texas area.
  • Work with plant operations personnel (daily) to help assess and improve facility compliance status.
  • Communicate with company operations personnel and contractors.
  • Understand various local, state & federal air quality regulations and how they apply to the natural gas midstream, crude oil & finished products transportation, and NGL processing industries.
  • Prepare permit applications for various projects.
  • Gather data, prepare emission calculations, and assess various control technologies.
  • Work under normal supervision and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Coordinate several projects with various operational groups or districts.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen process engineering knowledge base and proficiencies.
