About The Position

Venture Global LNG is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost. We are seeking an Associate/Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Calcasieu Pass Facility in Louisiana. This role will report to the Principal Engineer, Electrical Operations Engineering and will be responsible for supporting Operations, Maintenance and Engineering groups for matters regarding the Plant Electrical System. The role will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that the Plant Electrical System operates as per design, in a safe and reliable manner with minimal downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with specialization in Power Systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Application Suite.
• Familiarity with Power Systems Modelling Tools such as ETAP/SKM preferable.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge and understanding of the complete Plant Electrical System and equipment.
• Work with Switchgears (138kV, 4.16kV, 480V).
• Assist with Motor Control Centers (MCC).
• Support Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS).
• Engage with Transformers.
• Contribute to Energy Management Systems (EMS/SCADA).
• Conduct Electrical System Studies.
• Support the development and maintenance of Company Procedures & Processes.
• Establish Key Performance Indicators & Metrics for Electrical.
• Maintain Electrical drawings and databases.
• Assist with the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) process.
• Assist with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) risk assessments.
• Provide day to day troubleshooting support to Operations & Maintenance Groups.
