Your next role The Associate Electrical Engineer will lead the design of electrical systems and manage a team to deliver high-quality solutions. You will work closely with clients, architects, other Buro Happold Engineers, and/or design team members as part of a dedicated and skilled team. Duties include the production of coordinated detailed design drawings, specifications, written reports, site observation reports, schedules etc. on a variety of projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for buildings and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior role within MEP for an architectural engineering consultancy.
  • Relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Experience using Revit and computational analysis tools.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and propose multiple solutions to clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) desirable.
  • LEED AP accredited preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and technical specifications of electrical systems, ensuring quality output.
  • Manage project resources, client relationships, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Guide graduates and other junior engineers through their professional development.
  • Communicate directly with clients and maintain client relationships.
  • Ensure practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the client's best interests and comply with current legislation and building codes.

  • Salary range of $105,000 to $150,000. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
