We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join the GRID Edge team in the System Design Department. The GRID Edge team focuses on the technical assessment of distributed energy resource (DER) applications in compliance with the New York State Standardized Interconnection Requirements (NYSSIR). The team also supports interconnection studies and facilitates projects that plan to participate in the wholesale energy market through the Utility Process. This team conducts high tension and low tension interconnection analyses to ensure that customer-owned DERs, such as energy storage, solar, combined heat & power (CHP), and fuel cells, integrate safely and reliably with the existing electric distribution grid. This includes system analysis and design, and the development of distribution standards and best practices. Members of this team also perform commission testing, and participate in utility and developer working groups to remain up to date with technology and technical direction of the market.

Requirements
