Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the San Antonio area. This position offers competitive pay and a sign on bonus up to $50,000. Requirements

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the Business community.
  • Proven ability to manage success and conflict amongst teams and individual personnel, with the intent of supporting Braun Intertec’s best interests.
  • Ability to understand Braun Intertec’s internal systems and practices, and ability to train, manage and adhere to them.
  • Proven ability to lead small or large groups effectively through a service/servant leadership style.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, masters preferred and ten+ years related industry experience.
  • Texas Professional Engineer Registration is required.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the overall performance of the San Antonio region operational, client and technical goals; and for personnel that report in through the Engineering and Testing Department.
  • Accountable for oversight of decision-making regarding items that apply to all personnel within the San Antonio region (e.g. facilities, office engagement, local marketing, etc.).
  • Continually monitors financial performance of business unit by analyzing current and future Unit activities, costs, efficiency of operations, etc. and provides feedback on a regular basis.
  • Ensure the efficient use of resources, cost structure and service delivery within the region and develop and execute a plan for continuous improvement
  • Development of goals regarding net revenue, operating cash, key hires, business development, client selection, project delivery, safety and client service and a demonstrated commitment to achieve those goals
  • Objectively evaluating employee performance and establishing goals for staff that contain components of improving or enhancing technical or project management skills, and client service skill development.
  • Responsible for managing the appropriate personnel mix to achieve your office goals (recruiting, hiring, terminations).
  • Directs client contracting in the office with respect to the Braun Intertec’s Authority Grant Policy.
  • Monitors individual employee project management skills specifically as they relate to financial performance of projects and client retention.
  • Encourages and supports a work environment that allows for cross-functional, multi-discipline work teams.
