About The Position

Regeneron is looking for an Associate Director of U.S. Market Access Strategy for Dupixent in the Immunology therapeutic area. This individual must be able to develop and implement strategies and tactics to secure and maintain optimal reimbursement and market access for all Dupixent indications, with a focus on respiratory/GI indications. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to new indication development, price and contracting strategy, payer value proposition development, payer positioning and message development, sales force pull-through tactics, customer engagement planning, patient and physician services coordination, HEOR initiatives, and public affairs alignment. Duties will include working closely with the Executive Director Market Access; Sanofi alliance business partners and cross-functional staff including brand marketing, sales and field reimbursement leadership, patient support services, health economics & outcomes, medical and market research, trade, account management and new product development to ensure market access strategic alignment with projects and to gain input on payer work-streams. Duties also include working with our market access strategy counterparts across Regeneron brands. The Regeneron commercial team prides itself on creating a hardworking and collaborative cross-functional environment. As a U.S. market access strategy team member for Dupixent, the Associate Director will work closely with global counterparts and contribute to ex-U.S. informational exchanges, project collaborations and annual business planning.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive industry relevant professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a market access functional role, payer account management, brand marketing, field sales/reimbursement management, or HEOR
  • Direct experience working for a managed care health plan or PBM is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the payer and HTA landscape and current trends
  • Experience in respiratory, allergy or GI diseases is helpful
  • Experience with specialty products and specialty product launches required
  • Knowledge of patient / physician hub services and specialty pharmacy networks a plus
  • Experience in a JV or alliance role preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence / lobby internal and affiliate decision-makers
  • Excellent clinical, financial, and analytical skills and competence essential

Nice To Haves

  • MBA/MHA or other degrees such as PharmD preferred

Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing and/or aligning the annual strategic and tactical business plan for US and Global markets
  • Implementing both short-term and long-term payer / HTA strategies and tactics while supporting in concert with developing and delivering tactics to support marketing efforts
  • Working closely with the Sanofi Value and Access team partners to find opportunities, implement existing tactics and achieve access goals
  • Leading payer and key customer market access research initiatives
  • Leading the development and implementation of indication initiatives including the payer value story for Dupixent indications, field training and pull-through programs, clinical and economic customer education materials, and market access programs
  • Developing field-level data tools and analytic capabilities to enhance local business planning and execution effectiveness
  • Managing promotional budgets, and develop metrics to measure value against key initiatives
  • Managing internal processes such as promotional review committee submissions, and advisory board coordination
