The Associate Director Supply chain leads a team of professionals and manages the performance and analysis of all aspects of material flows throughout the supply chain. The position is managing the health and performance of the supply chain and ensuring optimal capacity planning and material availability to meet customer expectations. They serve as the subject matter authority in SAP MM, SAP WM/EWM, and SAP PP. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall strategy and execution of the instruments supply chain, materials planning & purchasing, production planning, warehouse management, and inventory management Manages the analysis and reporting of materials performance measurement. Execution of the materials strategy to support Key Business Objectives. Measures and provides analysis of supply constraints and inventory management Plans material flows to ensure optimal supply continuity and productivity. Leads key projects or initiatives supporting process transformation, inventory optimization, outsourcing, and other materials management initiatives. Collaborates cross functionally to identify vulnerabilities and to close operational gaps. Complies with all GMP, regulatory and ISO guidelines, including company policies and departmental procedures. Establish and maintain effective relationships with the site senior leadership team, working in close partnership to coach and mentor the organization on process improvement and business excellence efforts. This position reports directly to the Instruments Plant Manager.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 7 – 10 years of experience in Supply Chain and Materials Management
  • SAP MM/SAP PP/SAP WM/EWM certification
  • APICS Certification
  • Advanced Planning and Materials Management skills
  • Advanced analytical skills and development of performance measurement dashboards
  • Advanced interpersonal and oral/written communications skills
  • Experience in SAP MM, SAP WM/EWM, and SAP PP
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft office suite
  • Possesses strong strategic abilities and has demonstrated the ability to develop a vision and drive for successful attainment of that vision.
  • Effective analytical and critical thinking skills, including business and financial analyses.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and progressive thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, consult and influence senior management in a cross-functional, matrix, global environment.
  • Excellent written and oral skills, and strong facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with ambiguities and rapid changes.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration - Preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP and SCM - Preferred
