About The Position

Associate Clinical Project Management Directors supervise, manage and provide oversight to assigned Clinical Project Management staff who manage or support studies and/or programs to ensure delivery; time and quality resulting in strong financial performance and customer satisfaction. Manage direct reports and teams in accordance with organization's policies and applicable regulations. Ensure direct report employees are fully trained; individual development is aligned; and in place to meet project and organizational needs. Able to attract; develop and retain talent. Role & Responsibilities Serve as the Principal (or Person) in Charge (PIC) for Cronos projects, providing overall leadership and accountability for project initiation, execution, and closeout. Oversee project governance, ensuring compliance with Cronos and IQVIA policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Manager Analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Allocate resources, balance workloads, and ensure optimal team performance across multiple projects. Facilitate project governance reviews, risk assessments, and issue escalation processes. Act as the primary point of contact for senior/executive management regarding project status, risks, and escalations. Ensure accurate and timely completion of project deliverables, including financial reconciliation, documentation, and archiving. Provide operational consultation on all aspects of the Cronos service offering. Drive process improvement initiatives and champion best practices in project management and operational excellence. Represent Cronos Study Operations in cross-functional initiatives and strategic planning. Support business development activities as needed, including proposal development and client presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience overseeing project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and compliance in a clinical research environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to build strong business relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in clinical research, project management, or study operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in project governance, process improvement, and team management.

  • experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SAP, SharePoint) preferred.
  • Master’s preferred
