About The Position

THE POSITION: Acting as the voice of the consumer at EVERSANA INTOUCH, an Associate Director Strategic Planning will work on a variety of projects guided by a tenured Planning Director or Group Planning Director. This person will provide research, insight and strategic guidance to a variety of accounts, consumer profiles and industry verticals.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of experience in planning, strategic planning and related communications experience; advertising agency experience is a huge plus
  • Proven ability to think creatively and evidence of success in developing multichannel strategies for brands and delivering them to market
  • Strong digital and analytical capabilities a must
  • Pharma/Healthcare background very nice to have
  • Storyteller and persuasive presenter
  • Deep understanding of digital channels, and knowledge of the various roles and contributions of other strategic disciplines such as CRM and social media
  • Resourceful, sees the big picture but likes to dig into the details, innately curious
  • Strong balance of creativity and analytics
  • Ability to simplify the complex

Responsibilities

  • Partners with creative, subject matter experts and account management peers to develop ideas and orchestrate planning and analytical activity for healthcare/pharma accounts
  • Synthesizes data and insights to drive integrated strategy development, comprehensive multichannel plans and creative ideas
  • Works with cross-functional team to develop brand strategies, digital cross-channel strategies, creative briefs, customer journeys and ecosystems
  • Establishes strong collaborative relationship within the groups and externally with key agency and client partners to consistently elevate the quality of thinking and ideas applied to the client business
  • Directs strategic key components of the client business and actively engages client
  • Leads multiple, simultaneous projects and assignments including delegating as appropriate
  • Takes lead on all annual planning deliverables
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement, organic growth and workflow efficiencies of agency
  • Starts to develop and actively participate in the development of POVs, channel/tactical plans, patient journeys and digital ecosystems
  • Actively supports new business activity where required

  • Responsible for and oversee their respective department.
  • Interview, select and supervise the activities of the department staff; communicate interpret and discuss with team the company policies and procedures.
  • Determine job objectives, work methods and performance standards; review performance relative to departmental objectives discussion appraisal with each employee and performance; authorize and communicate salary changes, promotions, transfers, discipline, and discharge and administer all other personnel actions.
