About The Position

UBS Bank USA is seeking an Associate Director, Strategic Business Analyst in Weehawken, NJ. Do you enjoy delivering enhanced change capabilities across a range of business functions? We're looking for an Associate Director, Strategic Business Analyst to develop data-driven business insights and analytics to drive growth within Banking. You will contribute to strategic initiatives and be part of a team that works on business growth development initiatives. Your role will involve delivering insights and segmentation by leveraging various internal and external data to grow the market of banking products and services and support strategic banking decision making. You will use product/financial SME to demonstrate through reporting and analyses how the product area drives profitability and work to develop strategies to enhance revenues. Additionally, you will develop and assist in various reporting initiatives and data analytics on banking initiatives, take an ownership role in product data capabilities, analyze complex business problems, and identify trends and patterns in datasets to construct recommendations for strategic/tactical sales plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Engineering (any), Data Analytics or a related field of study.
• 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Business Analyst, Systems Engineer or a related occupation.
• Experience with early-stage analysis and reporting.
• Experience with daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting.
• Creating and managing Power BI dashboards.
• Experience with Tableau.
• Converting key reports into Power BI.
• Creating reports using SQL, SAS, and Python.
• Collaborating with cross-functional managers to understand their business needs.
• Formulating and completing end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, analysis, ongoing scaled deliverables and presentations.
• Researching and developing frameworks in Agile for data acquisition and quality management using Java and SQL.
• Generating reports using Oracle database through Java.
• Mentoring and training other associates.
• Conducting code reviews and business workshops.
• Building and analyzing reports to identify issues, trends, and opportunities.
• Designing and running queries in production and reporting environments on relational databases.
