The Standard Missile portfolio of programs (SM-2, SM-3, SM-6), which rolls under the Shipboard Missiles SSBU is seeking an Andover on-site Associate Director responsible for the execution and delivery of all CCA products that feed the standard missile programs. In this role, as a change agent, you will be responsible for positively impacting cost, schedule, and quality requirements for CCA production. This role will develop key executive-level relationships internally with Program Management, Engineering, Operations & Supply Chain, Quality & Mission Assurance. This role will be the programmatic interface between each of the Standard Missile program offices and the Andover factory. You will be responsible for building and developing a collaborative environment built on the foundation of trust and accountability to drive business results that have a significant impact on the portfolio’s financial performance and bottom line. This position will be located onsite at our Andover, MA facility

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience
  • Prior experience in Program Management or a relevant discipline (Program Management, Project Management, Capture Management, Program Operations Management, Material Program Management, Cost Account Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead, Engineering, etc)
  • Prior experience working with Risk and Opportunity Management, Earned Value Management or similar program/system
  • Prior experience leading cross-functional teams to include, but not limited to, any combination of the following: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, and/or administrative functions
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance​
  • Security Clearance Type: Secret - Current
  • Security Clearance Status: Active and existing security clearance required on day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Raytheon Program Management Certification Level 4 Certification or ability to obtain within a year
  • Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources
  • Graduate from the Emerging Program Manager Development Program (EPMD)
  • Certified BOE Developer / Approver
  • Experience with IPDS including through engineering development, test and integration phases
  • Working knowledge of contract formation, execution, and management.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with internal customers and stakeholders across portfolios to develop prioritization and execution strategy to ensure Andover factory delivery commitments are satisfied for each program.
  • Maintain a line of balance across all common hardware and ensure allocations support program needs.
  • Be the conduit between the programs and the Andover factory to help drive prioritization and rapidly close actions that impede the line.
  • Collaborate closely with development, transition to production, capacity and munitions acceleration teams and organizations
  • Define program tasking/milestones and monitor adherence to program budgets, plans, cost, schedule, and technical performance
  • Manage profit and loss, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and execution, and program Estimate at Completions (EACs)
  • Lead by example and champion program management best practices for production
  • Coordinate and align interactions, dependencies, and transactions between each internal customer and other performing parties
  • Set program priorities, resolve conflicts and barriers,
  • Support proposal activities in support of on-contract growth and adjacent opportunities supporting the portfolio
  • Change management, proposing and executing constructive changes
  • Interface with stakeholders and government customers
  • Travel, up to 10%, to participate in domestic business engagements with internal customers, partners, and teammates
