The Impact you will have in this role: Being a member of CISO team, as the Associate Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will serve as the technical leader responsible for Site Reliability Engineering across IAM platform, overseeing and managing all critical IAM tools operational activities. With over seven years of experience in the field, you will provide strategic direction, hands-on technical expertise, and leadership for a comprehensive suite of IAM solutions, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Secrets Management, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and Active Directory (AD).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of Cybersecurity / IAM related experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in Site Reliability Engineering in Identity access management platform.
  • Proven leadership experience in a technical management role.
  • Strong understanding of IAM frameworks, security best practices, and compliance standards (such as SOX, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively across technical and business teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, or vendor-specific IAM credentials) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Implement SRE across all IAM platforms and ensure availability, resilience, scalability, and performance of production systems on a proactive basis by coordinating with Engineering teams and platform teams.
  • Design and implement end-to-end observability pipelines, data processing workflows, and automation execution environments
  • Define and manage SLI, SLO’s and SLA’s.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring strategies for IAM system performance, drift detection, data quality, and service health across all IAM platforms.
  • Build real-time dashboards and alerting systems that provide actionable insights into system performance, resource utilization, and service reliability.
  • Implement proactive monitoring strategies to detect issues before they impact customers
  • Lead incident triage and recovery, drive post-incident reviews and systemic fixes, reduce MTTR through tooling, automation, and resilient architectures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including security, infrastructure, and application development, to align IAM initiatives with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical mentorship and leadership to IAM engineers who is working on multiple IAM technologies - operational activities , fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Lead incident response/Disaster Recovery /On call support / Change Management Process and troubleshooting efforts related to IAM tools, ensuring timely resolution of security events and operational issues.
  • Lead and manage IAM teams (L1/L2/L3 support)
  • Handle hiring, onboarding, and team structuring
  • Drive performance management, goal setting, and appraisals
  • Mentor team members and build future leaders
  • Ensure team skill development (IAM + SRE upskilling)
  • Manage on-call rotations, workload balancing
