The Associate Director or Senior Associate Director of Graduate Admissions is a vital member of our Graduate Admissions leadership team, playing a key role in attracting, engaging, and enrolling innovative and inclusive thinkers into our globally recognized graduate programs. This position leads strategic initiatives that shape the future of our MBA, MS, DBA, and certificate programs by managing recruitment, admissions operations, and relationship-building across domestic and international markets. The Associate or Senior Associate Director works closely with internal partners and prospective students to ensure Babson continues to enroll highly qualified and mission-driven candidates who will thrive in our entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree
  • For the Associate Director, a minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in admissions or enrollment management; candidates with a minimum of 6 years of experience may be considered at the Associate Director level. In addition, a minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • For the Senior Associate Director, a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in admissions or enrollment management; candidates with a minimum of 8 years of experience may be considered at the Senior Associate Director level. In addition, a minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to report and manipulate data to identify shifts and trends in the marketplace. Data analysis is integral to ensure enrollment goals are attained.
  • Prior experience with web-based and electronic marketing, customer relationship management (CRM), and data management and mining.
  • A relationship-driven approach with strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students, alumni, faculty, and global partners.
  • Experience in both domestic and international graduate recruitment.
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working across departments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Able to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, and faculty

  • Must have had a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver’s License for one year, and maintain throughout employment an insurable (as determined by the College’s insurer’s criteria) or a satisfactory driving record; must successfully complete and pass the College’s vehicle training program within the first 60 days of employment; annual or more frequent review of employee’s driving record based on the College insurer’s criteria; and safety training as required by management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in developing, supporting, and maintaining admissions policies that ensure a strong, efficient, and consistent application experience.
  • Partner with senior admissions leadership to refine operations, improve workflows, scale best practices, and enhance systems.
  • Develop and lead targeted outreach strategies to build awareness and interest in Babson’s portfolio of graduate programs while strengthening relationships with both internal and external partners.
  • Serve as a thought partner in identifying new pipelines and practices.
  • In collaboration with the Director, Graduate Admissions, sets and implements the strategic direction for the recruitment and enrollment of students by determining and shaping class profiles through the strategic deployment of scholarship funds, targeted recruiting activities, and the development of new pipelines and partners
  • Shares responsibility for planning and executing all recruitment events, both on campus and off. Responsibilities also include outreach and participation in established partnership recruiting activities.
  • Oversee the holistic review of applications and train team members to ensure consistency, integrity, and mission alignment in candidate evaluations.
  • Guide prospective students through the entire enrollment journey from inquiry through enrollment, ensuring personalized, high-touch engagement throughout their journey.
  • Collaborate with program leadership to shape class profiles that reflect Babson’s strategic goals.
  • Analyze and report on admissions metrics to support recruitment effectiveness and conversion strategy to drive informed decision-making.
  • Track the impact and ROI of outreach activities, events, and communication campaigns.
  • Work alongside colleagues across campus (i.e., Graduate Programs, Career Development, College Marketing) to align admissions with student success, market needs, and post-graduate outcomes.
  • Support the creation of compelling marketing materials through persona development and competitor analysis, in collaboration with College Marketing to ensure consistency in brand.
  • Mentor and guide other team members; lead strategic projects such as technology implementation, new partnership development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic and tactical goals for the Graduate Admissions office.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required.
