About The Position
The position of Associate Director, SEC Reporting is a crucial position within the External Reporting and Consolidation team (Controllership organization), responsible for the direct oversight of the financial and external reporting process. This individual will be a key liaison to the global finance organization and business process owners and will interact daily with regional / functional controllers, managers, and colleagues of various regions and enabling functions, as well as other members of BMS Controllers/Finance, Informational technology, and Legal/Compliance organizations. The Associate Director, SEC Reporting will have substantial exposure to pharmaceutical industry accounting and reporting practices. This highly visible position provides an opportunity to enhance the financial reporting and analysis skills, strengthen verbal and written communication skills, and expand leadership skills in a global environment.
