About The Position

The Associate Director - SAP General Accounting Architect at Eli Lilly and Company is responsible for collaborating with various business partners to enhance and support enterprise-grade solutions in SAP General Accounting. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, information technology or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of implementing and maintaining SAP in General Accounting and related modules.

  • Understanding of current state and future direction for the area and enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional leadership to define future state business processes and supporting technologies.
  • Collaborate with key Business Partners and Architects to set direction through formation of a strategic roadmap.
  • Identify business problems and evolve the global solution using SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Influence the business to think in different ways by providing design direction and alternative options.
  • Responsible for technical solution design and understanding integration points with SAP and other business applications.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business partners on large-scale projects.
  • Integrate global design with systems and processes, designing/developing interfaces to/from SAP.
  • Lead the development of evolving global design for operational changes in SAP.
  • Work directly with application vendors to understand and influence their strategic direction.
  • Coach and mentor management and team members on business processes, technologies, and designs.
