About The Position

The Associate Director of Regulatory Relations Governance & Reporting will provide analytical and business analyst support to the Regulatory Relations Governance team. This role involves maintaining documentation of regulatory exams, managing reporting processes, and serving as the primary contact for metrics reporting. The position requires strong oversight of regulatory issues management and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree, Master's degree preferred.
  • Solid Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exam management experience (preferred).
  • Extensive regulatory knowledge and expertise (5+ years minimum).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent judgment and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide reporting and analytical support across all RBC entities.
  • Serve as the central support contact for regulatory exam reporting, addressing questions from internal stakeholders and managing change requests.
  • Create management updates, including metrics and meeting materials.
  • Summarize and prepare reports on exam activity for Prudential and Markets Regulators, and assist with the Monthly Regulatory Engagement Calendar.
  • Manage expectations for reporting requests for Board level committees and assist in producing briefings for senior management.
  • Collaborate with partners in other functions to ensure clear communication to senior management.
  • Support enterprise-wide reporting programs by recording and updating results of regulatory exams and issues.
  • Track regulatory risk through monthly metrics reports detailing themes and trends in regulatory exams and inquiries.
  • Assist in developing and enhancing the department's inquiry and exam recordkeeping system (SAI360).
  • Support improvements for a consistent Regulatory Issues Management strategy aligned with RBC standards.
