University Relations builds Santa Clara University's excellence and character by strengthening relations with alumni, parents, and friends of the University, raising public awareness, and increasing private philanthropy. The development division has been recognized with the CASE Educational Fundraising Award, an honor given each year to superior fundraising programs at educational institutions across the country. The Prospect Management and Analytics (PMA) team supports fundraising efforts at Santa Clara University by providing customized information and analyses that contribute to building and maintaining donor relationships and strengthening connections to the University. The PMA team works collaboratively with each other, the development officers, other teams in University Relations, and offices across campus to ensure the University meets its fundraising goals. Reporting to the Senior Director of Prospect Management and Analytics with a dotted line to the Director of Prospect Management and Analytics, the Associate Director is responsible for supporting SCU's fundraising programs to meet the campus fundraising goals and objectives. The Associate Director works in close partnership with assigned development officers and/or units to oversee proactive prospect identification, prospect research, portfolio development, and moves/prospect management. In addition, the Associate Director manages large and complex data projects supporting the strategic and tactical planning and operation effectiveness of the university's fundraising.
