About The Position

This position is responsible for effectively leading and orchestrating the Tyson Pork Production Planning Team to achieve financial business and customer satisfaction objectives. Responsibilities include ensuring achievement of: optimized operational efficiencies thru forecast accuracy and plant adherence; departmental budgets; Primal Optimization Metrics; and Order Fill and On Time delivery objectives. Responsible for supervising maintaining and developing qualified and effective team members in area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related to this position or equivalent field experience.
• 8 plus years of experience. Industry experience in Planning Operations Sales preferred.
• Advanced computer skills; requires the ability to comprehend and lead planning processes through available existing and potential tools currently utilized in planning area.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills thru various levels required.
• This position will supervise a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities interacting significantly with other areas internally and externally.
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects display effective and justifiable decision-making abilities detail oriented trustworthy people oriented and capable of strong leadership for Team.
• Experience in following requirement areas: Mathematical formulas and calculations to prepare or interpret financial or statistical information formal and informal presentations to groups on work-related topics application of original and independent thinking in developing highly complex issues in-depth skills and thorough understanding of planning procedures and systems and how these interact with other areas.
• 1-5 domestic trips per year.
