About The Position
The Associate Director of Principal Giving, Stewardship & Engagement Strategy is a member of the Principal Giving and Board Relations team and reports to the Senior Managing Director, Principal Giving and Board Relations. This role will serve as a practical liaison to all internal EA partners, including Donor Relations, Events, and Communications to help ensure alignment and coordination across teams to support the unique communications, events and stewardship needs of this highly complex and unique audience of top donors, top prospects, and Board members. As this role is focused on a nuanced and complex audience, requiring highly curated, customized and dynamic experiences, bringing practical and deep knowledge of day to day relationships is critical to success. Partner closely with the Donor Relations team and oversee developing a bespoke suite of donor acknowledgments, reports, and messaging to engage principal giving donors throughout the entire lifecycle of their giving experience across Wharton and Penn. This role will serve as a thought partner with the SMD and Director/ Senior Director of PG Operations on crafting proposals, and materials to promote fundraising; and other activities to connect with, thank, and inspire past and future donors. This role will also partner with the Director of Board Relations on special projects and initiatives that tie both programs together.
