About The Position

The position involves leading and coordinating activities to enhance the scalability and effectiveness of pricing and government reporting activities. This includes developing integrated processes to leverage organizational resources, building efficiencies in processes, systems, and harmonizing policies and procedures. A continuous process improvement mindset is essential, along with the ability to drive positive change within the organization. The role also supports the evaluation, modeling, and provision of strategic insights into the financial and market impact of pricing decisions on government programs and related commercial considerations, including forecasting efforts in coordination with Finance for updates to GTN and accruals for government-related liabilities. Additionally, the position oversees compliance with federal and state-specific pricing transparency requirements, coordinating data collection and report submissions for compliance. Collaboration with various departments and external stakeholders is crucial for the design and implementation of pricing strategies, policies, and procedures related to government programs. The role also involves maintaining internal control procedures and supporting governance and compliance for Audit, Legal, or Finance as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or Healthcare Policy.
  • 10+ years of biotech/pharmaceutical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for MDRP, Medicare/IRA, Veteran’s Healthcare Act, and other Federal regulations.
  • Experience with implementation and utilization of financial & pricing systems, preferably Model N.
  • Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to function independently with critical thinking and prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate activities to increase scalability and effectiveness of pricing & government reporting activities.
  • Support evaluation, modeling, and provision of strategic insights into the financial and market impact of pricing decisions.
  • Oversee and fulfill all Federal and state specific pricing transparency requirements.
  • Work with Senior Director, Policy Advocacy & Government Affairs, & Legal to interpret and implement updates to CMS guidance and federal regulations.
  • Develop and manage internal reports/dashboards to monitor government exposure and update assumptions as applicable.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on design and implementation of pricing strategy, tactics, policies and procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating all government pricing related internal control procedures, Policies, SOPs and Job Aids.
  • Support governance and compliance support for Audit, Legal or Finance as requested.
  • Provide management oversight on the records supporting the disclosure of data to federal and state agencies.
