The Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) organization serves patients during their treatment journey with Johnson & Johnson therapies to help overcome challenges to fulfillment, on-boarding, and adherence. Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s PECS team is recruiting for an Associate Director, PECS Marketing & Branding Strategy, to be based in Titusville, NJ with flexibility to work in Horsham, PA. Summary: The Associate Director, PECS Marketing & Branding Strategy will responsible for shaping the strategy and implementation, adherence, and adoption of compliant J&J withMe messaging in market across all Therapeutic Area (TA) patient support programs (PSP). The Associate Director support the development and maintenance of content strategy and message libraries for each TA to leverage best practices and drive consistency and clarity of core program messaging and representation.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of dynamic experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated in pre-launch & launch activities, in-line marketing, market access, marketing support, or sales management/training experience implementing marketing strategy is required.
  • An ability to manage multiple priorities is required.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment and manage project teams with or without direct report authority is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to present to all levels of leadership required
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive environment and fostering best thinking across the team is required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record for forging strong, productive relationships with a wide array of colleagues and customers is required

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PECS Patient Experience, Solutions, and Operations teams to support all NA Innovative Medicine TAs.
  • Branding Strategy Development: Align with Px and Brand Teams to the creation and execution of comprehensive J&J withMe branding strategies for PECS, aimed at enhancing brand awareness and engagement. Ensure consistent application across the PECS portfolio of TA PSPs and adherence to enterprise J&J withMe branding guidelines. Evaluate competitor patient experience and access offerings and anticipate future trends.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Maintain strong connectivity with Internal Stakeholders (Patient Experience, Solutions, Operations, Market Access, and Brand) to understand evolving business and program needs. Develop and deliver training to help Internal Stakeholders understand messaging and asset submission requirements. Ensure excellence in patient experience when adding or updating program materials.
  • PECS CAC Processes: Participate in CAC reviews to ensure compliant, accurate, and timely approvals of patient support program materials. Serve as the PECS subject matter expert in CAC, ensuring PECS‑approved content is consistently and accurately pulled through. Act as liaison between PECS teams and CAC reviewers to align on concepts and messaging. Ensure program offerings appropriately balance J&J and customer needs in a compliant manner.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive harmonization of J&J patient support program materials where appropriate. Provide a J&J‑wide perspective to ensure consistency in patient support program processes across therapeutic areas. Ensure current, approved materials are live across all digital platforms (JNJwithMe.com, J&J with Me Portals, brand.com sites). Maintain patient journey and support program maps across brands.
  • J&J withMe Message Libraries: Develop and maintain HCP and patient‑facing message libraries that guide all content for J&J withMe. Simplify language to reflect customer needs—supporting patients with empathy and giving providers easy‑to‑use resources.
  • Performance Metrics: Define advance CAC performance indicators to identify friction points and drive continuous improvement and engagement strategies within CAC/CET processes to increased organizational efficiency, and enhance launch effectiveness for all materials and resources.
  • Unbranded Programs & Materials: Lead development and improvement of patient educational materials. Manage agency partners to create/maintain cross‑franchise educational resources. Serve as Project Owner for cross‑franchise CAC submissions as needed.
