SUMMARY: The Associate Director, Operations for Programs Development assists in the planning and implementation of fundraising activities of the Programs Development Department. The Programs Development Department is responsible for programmatic initiatives, with annual funding needs in the $75-100 million range, and management of 100+ grants and financial contributions at any given time. The Department also receives in-kind contributions, which require oversight. The successful Associate Director will lead the Programs Development (PD) department operations team, comprised of administrative support staff and will oversee design, implementation and maintenance of department-wide standard operating procedures and improvements for effective grants management. In addition, the Associate Director will collaborate with Programs Development Team members on their portfolios to advance fundraising and steward donor relationships, as well as on specific writing projects. . This position reports to the Director of Development (Health) and provides support across the full Programs Development Team. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required. This role may require periodic international travel and re-entry into the United States. Due to the travel locations, Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) will be required.
