Lead the assessment, shaping, and operationalization of complex contract strategies across our Oncology portfolio and new product launches. As the therapeutic landscape evolves rapidly, this position plays a critical role in driving innovative and agile contracting approaches that align with dynamic market conditions, customer structures, and competitive pressures. Oncology contracting is uniquely complex, requiring a forward-looking mindset, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage the intricacies of Oncology structures, including multiple strategy layers per brand and a complex customer hierarchy (Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Parent and Identified Member levels). This position requires a strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to navigate and manage complex contract strategies across a diverse and evolving Oncology portfolio. The Associate Director will play a critical role in operational readiness and execution for upcoming product launches, ensuring all contract components are aligned with launch strategy and market access objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for cross-functional collaboration with Access Strategy, Pricing, Legal, Finance, Government Pricing and Contract Development. Translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable operational plans, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders and systems. Liaise with external customers as needed. Provide functional oversight and leadership to a team of 2 FTEs, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting talent development. Champion innovative solutions to streamline contract operations and ensure scalability to meet the needs of a growing Oncology portfolio.   • Lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle management process, including the analysis, validation, and execution of complex contract terms, amendments, and discount structures across the Oncology portfolio.
  • Lead implementation of new strategies related to both contracting and data integration, ensuring optimal representation within field-facing tools and platforms.
  • Translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable operational plans, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders and systems.
  • Point person for cross-functional collaboration with Access Strategy, Pricing, Legal, Finance, and Contract Development. Liaise with external customers as needed.
  • Leverage advanced reporting tools and third-party data sources to analyze rebate payments, monitor sales performance, and assess market share trends across channels and customer segments.
  • Evaluate customer performance to assess the effectiveness of performance-based agreements and optimize contract tier placement based on utilization and sales metrics.
  • Provide functional oversight and leadership to a team of 2 FTEs, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting talent development.
  • Champion innovative solutions to streamline contract operations and ensure scalability to meet the needs of a growing Oncology portfolio and new product launches.
  • Support Director, Purchase Markets on ad hoc projects as required.
  • Comply with all SOX requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Area of specialization: Business, Finance, Accounting, Policy, or Health Care
  • Position requires 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in commercial or government contract operations preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in Market Access, Finance, or related functions within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to interpret, communicate, and operationalize complex and variable contracting strategies across diverse customer segments and therapeutic areas.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of the key drivers influencing pricing, rebate trends, and financial variances; able to synthesize data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated functional leadership, including oversight and development of direct reports (currently 2 FTEs), with a focus on performance, growth, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics for stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate/Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling); strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in a fast-paced, high-complexity environment.
  • MBA OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE preferred
  • Familiarity with Model N FLEX, SAP ERP, and other contract management or financial systems preferred.
