Associate Director of UX
About The Position
As the Associate Director of UX for RamseyTrusted Real Estate, you'll lead the user experience across our web and mobile platforms, helping people navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives with clarity, confidence, and trust. You'll shape the UX strategy, guide research and testing, and turn complex real estate workflows into simple, intuitive experiences that actually help people move forward. You'll partner closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and stakeholders to design user journeys that make buying or selling a home feel calmer, clearer, and easier. You'll help lead the evolution of our design systems and UX standards, ensuring consistency across all web and mobile touchpoints. You'll also lead and develop a team, coaching them in craft, clarity, and influence while raising the bar for design excellence at Ramsey.
Requirements
- You have 8+ years of experience in UX, interaction design, or product design for web and mobile applications.
- You're strong in user research, UX strategy, prototyping, wireframing, usability testing, and journey mapping.
- You've led or mentored and love helping people grow in their craft and confidence.
- You're fluent in Figma and understand how to guide both UX and UI decisions.
- You've simplified complex workflows and built experiences that feel clear, intuitive, and human.
- You communicate clearly and confidently with product, engineering, content, and marketing partners.
- You care deeply about how digital experiences help real people, not just how they look, but how they work.
- You bring humility, clarity, and steady leadership that builds trust across teams.
Responsibilities
- Create clear, simple web and mobile experiences that reduce friction and help users feel confident at every step of the real estate journey.
- Build and maintain strong UX processes-research, flows, prototypes, testing-that shape product strategy and inform decisions.
- Raise the standard of UX and product design across the RamseyTrusted Real Estate platform, bringing consistency, clarity, and purpose to every touchpoint.
- Grow and lead a team of designers, helping them produce excellent work and influence cross-functional partners with confidence.
- Partner closely with product and engineering to deliver high-quality features efficiently and with strong alignment.
- Bring clarity and direction to complex problems by turning insights into solutions that genuinely serve people well.
- Champion a culture of feedback, iteration, and user advocacy, continually pushing the work forward.
