About The Position

The Associate Director works both with qualified students with documented disabilities and students receiving benefits through the Veterans Administration. Working with Creighton’s Offices of Student Accessibility Services (SAS) (80% effort) and Military and Veterans Affairs (OMVA) (20% effort), the Associate Director works in Phoenix, ensuring that the needs of primarily PHSC-based students registered with these offices are met, and that these students persist to degree completion. This position is a direct report to the Director of SAS in Omaha, and serves on that leadership team while providing direct support to the coordinator of OMVA. In this role, the position provides site and program documentation to ensure continued approval by the VA supporting the University’s ability to accept VA education benefits, primarily for PHSC. The Associate Director may also support the certification of benefit-eligible students for the Omaha-based OMVA as needed.
