The Associate Director of Operations, Finance, and Communications of Tulane's National Public Innovation and Research Center (PIRC) will be responsible for strategic planning, communications, fundraising, budgeting, finances, and day-to-day operations of all the center's component initiatives, including the Education Research Alliance for New Orleans (ERA-New Orleans), the National Center for Research on Education Access and Choice (REACH), the Live Handbook of Education Policy Research, and the State of the Nation Project. The position reports to PIRC's Executive Director and involves close collaboration with the directors of the component units.

  • Organize and facilitate multiple projects simultaneously and ensure their successful completion.
  • Manage budgeting, finances, and financial planning.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organizational mission and vision.
  • Maintain a positive, productive, collegial, team-oriented organizational culture.
  • Manage networks and relationships with leaders of partner organizations.
  • BA in accounting, business or non-profit management, communications, education, social science, or related.
  • 5 years of experience involving at least four of the roles listed (budgeting, financial planning, etc.).
  • Master's Degree in business or non-profit management, communications, education, social science or related.
