Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, management, or a related field.
  • Three years of progressive marketing experience, including three years in email marketing and e-commerce.
  • Thorough knowledge of graphic design using the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how job responsibilities advance departmental goals.
  • Creative thinking and idea generation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to perform detail-oriented work and communicate effectively with a diverse population.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Marketing/Promotions or sales/advertising experience within a Division I or pro sports team.
  • Experience working with an email marketing platform.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic input into the athletics marketing department's strategy.
  • Develop fan affinity and sell tickets to revenue-producing athletic events through digital and traditional advertising platforms.
  • Manage and execute revenue-producing emails for the marketing department.
  • Work with the marketing team to create, place, track, and evaluate overall advertising efforts for the athletic program.
