The Associate Director of Events hires, trains, manages and coaches approximately three to ten catering/convention services managers. Primary responsibility is to service group business. This position may be the second in command in the Event department depending on the size of hotel. This person is assigned specific administrative responsibilities that should include supervisory duties over part of the Event department, usually Meeting Connections, Administrative Assistants or Trainees. The salary range for this position is $70,600-$88,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experienced. Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • 3 years in Hotel Event Sales and/or Event Planning
  • Has completed Hyatt Meeting Masters or equivalent
  • Has completed Hyatt Sales training to include PSS and PSN or equivalent
  • Geographically mobile
