About The Position

Hyatt Regency Frisco is conveniently located 25 minutes north of Dallas with 303 guestrooms and 27,500 square feet of event space. The 18-story hotel is situated in the heart of Frisco, TX at the Stonebriar Centre. Just steps from Dr. Pepper Stadium, FC Dallas / Toyota Stadium, Frisco Discovery Center, many entertainment choices and dining options. The Associate Director of Events hires, trains, manages and coaches Event managers. Primary responsibility is to service group business. This position may be the second in command in the Event department depending on the size of hotel. This person is assigned specific administrative responsibilities that should include supervisory duties over part of the Event department, usually Meeting Connections, Administrative Assistants or Trainees. This position will typically be required to carry and achieve a quota and service groups. Why Work at Hyatt? Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • 3 years in Hotel Event Sales and/or Event Planning
