About The Position
The American Museum of Natural History is one of the world's preeminent scientific and cultural institutions, and has as its mission to discover, interpret and disseminate information about human cultures, the natural world and the universe through a wide-ranging program of scientific research, education and exhibition. The Digital Media department is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Digital Technology & Architecture to ensure the stability, performance and evolution of the Museum's public-facing digital platforms, including the website, mobile guides, signage, APIs and analytics tool. The Associate Director leads implementation and delivery of digital products while aligning technical strategy with institutional goals in education, engagement and revenue. As a cross-functional collaborator and team leader, the Associate Director bridges technical operationalization with strategic vision, supporting high-impact, user-centered solutions across departments.
