As Associate Director, you will partner with the Director to set strategy and independently lead execution of national clinical placement operations. You’ll guide and empower the clinical relations team while strengthening site partnerships and optimizing the systems that support them. Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, clinical education, or academic administration
  • Experience managing a team of five or more
  • Proven success in procurement, partnership development, or sales environments
  • Strong operational, organizational, and strategic planning skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead through influence

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Direct experience with clinical placement operations in healthcare education (nursing, allied health, or similar)
  • Experience negotiating and managing affiliation agreements and compliance requirements
  • Project management mindset and strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead national clinical site procurement efforts to ensure students have strong, aligned placement opportunities.
  • Analyze student cohorts and program growth to forecast placement needs.
  • Oversee the tracking, scheduling, and operational success of student placements.
  • Maintain accurate clinical site records, onboarding compliance, and affiliation agreements.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for partners, resolving escalations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate across teams to streamline processes, improve data systems, and support scaling the clinical placement model.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects that enhance clinical education outcomes.
