Requirements

• 3+ years of PBM Network-Health plan Contracting experience.
• 3+ years of client/account management experience.
• 2+ years of experience with rate structures and finance components, including budget and profit & loss statements.
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of business development and/or sales experience.
• Program management and/or process improvement experience.
• Knowledge of value-based contracting.
• Proven ability to articulate buyer needs and translate them into business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies for payer contracting across existing payers.
• Provide consultative expertise in payer contracting to various provider groups.
• Manage contract negotiation and renewal activities for large to mid-size PBM accounts.
• Review payer applications, enrollment forms, and all contract documents.
• Develop overall payer contracting strategies to maximize revenue and leverage value propositions.
• Maintain knowledge of contract compliance and participation requirements for assigned payers.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for pharmacy operations related to payer contracting.
• Track and report individual performance metrics and KPIs to leadership.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and initiatives for growth through contracting.
