About The Position

The Associate Director - Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Neuroscience at Lilly is responsible for providing scientific and clinical expertise to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the Northern New Jersey area. This role involves facilitating scientific exchange, supporting clinical research, and addressing clinical care gaps to improve patient outcomes. MSLs act as a bridge between Lilly and the scientific community, ensuring that leading researchers and practitioners have access to the latest medical information and insights. The position requires a strong understanding of neuroscience and the ability to engage effectively with HCPs through both in-person and virtual interactions.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience.
  • Masters or bachelor's degree in health sciences with 5+ years of clinical, research, or industry experience in a relevant therapeutic area.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific and clinical knowledge to healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the neuroscience therapeutic area.
  • Facilitate scientific exchange between Lilly and the scientific community.
  • Support HCPs in addressing clinical care gaps and improving patient outcomes.
  • Analyze customer data to prioritize engagement with assigned scientific experts (SEs) and clinical experts (CEs).
  • Synthesize and communicate actionable insights to internal teams at Lilly.
  • Collaborate with clinical development to support studies and accelerate evidence generation.
  • Utilize territory analytics for customer identification and routing prioritization.
