About The Position

The Associate Director, Medical Impact will play a crucial role in developing the standards, processes, and framework for measuring end-to-end medical impact and creating tools for synthesizing insights across Medical Affairs (MA) and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). This position serves as a translator between Business Unit Therapeutic Areas (BU TAs), International TAs, and the Medical Engagement team, ensuring that the capabilities rolled out contribute to the long-term success of the MA + HEOR organization. The role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in Medical Affairs, and the ability to implement standardized processes for measuring medical impact across the organization. The Associate Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and develop impact and insights capabilities. This includes transforming the approach to impact tracking from static, manual report generation to a real-time, dashboard-based approach. The position also involves scaling the Medical Engagement Blueprint across TAs and partnering with HEOR to operationalize care gap analytics. The successful candidate will create tools and methodologies for synthesizing insights from various sources, including field feedback, to provide actionable recommendations for the MA + HEOR organization. Continuous evaluation and improvement of the standards and processes for measuring medical impact will be essential, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of the organization. Additionally, the Associate Director will keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to medical impact measurement and insights synthesis. They will prepare reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, demonstrating strong analytical reasoning abilities and creativity in problem-solving.
