The Associate Director, Medical Communications & Publications for Early Asset Programs will help shape and execute Medical Affairs strategic objectives for specific Alnylam disease areas. Through strategic alignment, the Associate Director, Medical Communications & Publications will be responsible for planning and execution of activities such as publication planning, publication steering committees, congress presence, and medical communication content development. As part of execution of the Alnylam strategy, the Associate Director, Medical Communications & Publications will work closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Clinical Operations and Commercial functions. The role of the Associate Director, Medical Communications & Publications is to provide guidance, expertise, and strategic direction on all aspects of program-specific publications and communications strategies. This is a highly visible role that will interface across levels and functional areas throughout the organization. The candidate will have a proactive and innovative approach, the ability to build strong professional relationships in cross-functional environments and a flexible, hands-on nature that works with a high sense of purposeful urgency. This a hybrid role based in our Cambridge, MA or Philadelphia, PA office.
