Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Market Access Strategy & Planning Lead cross-functional access planning aligned with brand strategy and portfolio objectives. Develop and execute market access strategies for the liver portfolio, including supporting pricing, reimbursement, and access planning. Assess evolving payer, competitive, and policy landscapes to identify risks and opportunities. Monitor payer trends and develop actionable strategic recommendations. Support processes enabling brand teams to integrate payer insights into brand planning. Ensure that the local Market Access activities comply with regulatory agencies, public policies/guidelines, and with corporate policies and procedures Value Demonstration & Evidence Marketing Lead the development of payer communication strategy and value tools. Translate clinical and economic data into compelling payer value propositions. Partner with HEOR and Medical Affairs to define evidence needs and support evidence generation plans. Partner with CL&D to support Account Management training and payer communication. Payer Engagement & Insights Strategically support multi-level payer engagement strategies for large integrated customers. Maintain an always up-to date understanding of local payer needs and monitor the future competitive/ regulatory/ pricing landscape in order to proactively adapt company strategy to emerging trends in the reimbursement and drug pricing landscape. Analyze payer trends and coverage decisions to inform brand and portfolio strategy. Understand customer motivations and incorporate insights into strategic planning. Understanding of regulatory environment including programs designed to educate payers on drug safety and appropriate use of Pre-approval Information Exchange and FDAMA 114. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate across Brand Teams, Medical Affairs, HEOR, Account Management Finance, Market Research, Legal, Government Affairs, and other functional teams, to develop strategies that reflect all relevant current and projected market dynamics. Serve as a liaison across HQ and field-based teams to streamline communication. Support special initiatives such as data partnerships and population-based programs. Role Expectations Ability to prioritize tasks, and organize and manage multiple projects while maintaining an understanding of national and global perspectives and objectives Ability to take initiative, work within existing management structure, and to consistently deliver high-quality work products Communicate frequently and effectively with manager and other identified stakeholders/team members Produce well-written Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets that communicate key points in a clear and concise format

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, health economics, public health, business, or related field.
  • Strong track-record with 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in Market Access, payer strategy, HEOR, pricing, or reimbursement.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. payer systems and coverage/reimbursement dynamics.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and communication excellence.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across teams without authority.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, MS HEOR).
  • Experience in liver diseases or related therapeutic areas.
  • Experience with pipeline planning and launch preparedness.
