About The Position
The University of Iowa Pomerantz Career Center is hiring a dedicated Associate Director, Leadership Studies. The Associate Director, Leadership Studies will serve as the primary academic advisor for the Certificate in Leadership Studies. They will manage the daily operations and administration of the Leadership Studies (LS) program. They will also manage curriculum for assigned courses including but not limited to: Career Leadership Academy Part 1 and Part 2, and Introduction to Leadership. They will also have the opportunity to oversee instructor recruitment, training, and onboarding, as well as instructor development and retention efforts for the above courses. Additionally, they will select, train, supervise, and evaluate student interns, manage external relationships with community partners and service organizations involved with LS courses, and assist with course assessment and evaluation.
