About The Position

About This Role: As the Associate Director, Launch Excellence, US Nephrology, you will play a pivotal role in Biogen's efforts to prepare for the launch readiness of a late-stage asset within the Nephrology disease therapeutic area. This position is part of the Strategy & Operations team for the US Nephrology Franchise. You will be responsible for managing the integrated US launch plan, orchestrating key launch work stream meetings, and overseeing all phases of project execution. Your role involves working across various functions to ensure accountability and alignment, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex work streams in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. What You’ll Do: Lead the US Launch Operations Team and support launch readiness reviews with senior leadership Coordinate and facilitate key launch team meetings, acting as the lead for certain sub-teams. Serve as the business planning process lead for Integrated Customer Planning (ICP), Long Range Planning (LRP), and Annual Operating Planning (AOP) processes Achieve cross-functional alignment on all timelines, including sub-teams Identify planning gaps and adapt plans accordingly Monitor and manage the project schedule, including mitigation strategies and risk management Highlight dependencies, key decision points, critical activities, and map to milestones; negotiate and resolve issues as they arise Work closely with the Global team to align plans and incorporate key transition points between Global and US Collaboration with launch planning partner in adjacent Franchise to maintain consistency in approach, systems and communication across Biogen North America (BNA) launches Engage cross-functional stakeholders with proactive, clear, and regular communication Continuously evaluate and improve process and governance Design and leverage appropriate project management platforms and dashboards for cross-functional reporting Who You Are: You are a highly organized and driven individual with a passion for project management and launch excellence. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in biotech/pharma consulting, project management and leading large/complex programs and initiatives
  • Extensive launch management experience
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills/ highly collaborative
  • Ability to cultivate strong internal/external network
  • Strong operational skills; project/ timeline management capabilities
