About The Position

Mount Holyoke College seeks an exceptional investment professional to serve as Associate Director of Investments. This is an opportunity to help steward and grow a $1 billion endowment that provides critical support for financial aid, academic excellence, and long-term institutional strength. The investment office, located in vibrant Harvard Square, was established in 2020 and is a small, tight-knit, and highly collaborative team. We operate as generalists, share a unified investment philosophy, and take a global, multi-asset-class approach. The Associate Director will play a meaningful role across the full investment lifecycle, with a particular focus on building and sustaining relationships with world-class investment managers. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a record of high academic achievement
At least 5 years of relevant investment, finance, or related experience

Nice To Haves

CFA designation or progress toward the charter

Responsibilities

Contribute to overall portfolio strategy and broad asset allocation decisions.
Source and evaluate investment opportunities across asset classes, with an emphasis on private markets (venture capital, growth equity, buyouts, real assets, and more).
Manage, monitor, and deepen relationships with existing managers in the endowment portfolio.
Lead or co-lead due diligence processes, including analytics, research, and reference calls.
Drive special projects and thematic research to support portfolio construction.
Prepare and present thoughtful written and oral investment reports and recommendations.
