About The Position

This position supports the development and execution of the marketing strategies and tactics through Multi-Channel Marketing (MCM) at the Global, Areas, and Country-Affiliate level across all Rheumatology brands & indications. Collaborates and engages with a cross functional team, which includes (but not limited to): customer excellence, market access, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, health economics, public affairs, medical and regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC, and global learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skills
  • Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred
  • Digital communication experience
  • Ideally Area and/or several Affiliates exposure
  • Strategic thinker and organizational skills, able to define well-structured execution plans
  • Planning, organizing and managing multiple projects
  • Strong implementation skills and experience
  • Networking skills and effective communication that builds effective working relationships with a broad range of internal cross-functional stakeholders
  • Good communication skills and the ability to inspire teams utilizing effective written and oral communication
  • Knowledge of digital and CRM tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop Multi-Channel Marketing strategy for Rheumatology brands/indications
  • Ensure channel capabilities are available and ready to implement at Area and Affiliate levels
  • Support implementation of ACE
  • Generate marketing insights that inform strategic and tactical plans
  • Identify commercial opportunities that advance efforts towards the brand objectives and goals
  • Create and drive multi-stakeholder initiatives within the overall brand strategy, as well as lead communication strategy
  • Develop marketing tools/resources to optimize impact and advance them efficiently through the formal approval process
  • Lead marketing activities like segmentation/targeting/positioning, promotional materials/tactics, advertising, promotion, within assigned budget
  • Support affiliates in the context of HCP promotion through innovative and impactful strategies & tactics
  • Manage budgets and maximize resources
  • Contribute to AbbVie's leadership position in Rheumatology
  • Project management & work with vendors and other agencies to lead creative and communication strategy
  • Collaborate with Marketing Director(s) and business leaders to build, manage and execute marketing plans to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Contribute within area of responsibility to business and marketing plans process
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and build external partnerships
  • Influence business leaders and effectively collaborate cross-functionally to deliver business results
