About The Position

IPG Mediabrands seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team as Associate Director, HRBP. This role will provide the full spectrum of business partner responsibilities in the Human Resources areas of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation, Employee Relations, and HR administration. The strategic alignment of these areas is achieved through orchestration and close collaboration and partnership with the Centers of Excellence in each talent area. This position is responsible for partnering with all employees across your respective client groups to proactively develop and execute initiatives related to the attraction, retention, and development of talent as well as collaborate with the wider Talent team to develop and implement projects across assigned client groups.

Requirements

  • 5 years of related Human Resources experience (experience working in a matrixed organization a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels with strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems such as Workday a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Key relationships with the KINESSO employee group across the US.
  • Facilitate learning activities for management and employees in conjunction with the L&D team.
  • Assist in various annual activities in the Talent team including Talent Calibration, Compensation Planning and Talent Planning for the units.
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and guidance to all employees as well as the broader employee population.
  • Facilitate HR processes including new hires and transfers in partnership with the Talent Operations team and Centers of Excellence.
  • Responsible for Employee Relations in partnership with Mediabrands Employee Relations group.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, talent development, practices, and HR tools.
  • Provide guidance on Talent statistics for employee surveys; develop action plans in response accordingly.
  • Play key role in strategic diversity initiatives including research, planning, promoting, and execution of events.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of employment law, industry trends, current practices and new developments.
