The Gorilla Glue Company is seeking a strategic leader to oversee the aggregation of regional masterplans into the Global Gorilla product innovation masterplan. This role involves leading the development and management of brand category expansion programs, collaborating with R&D and other technical functions, and influencing brand equity and portfolio development in partnership with regional leaders. The position requires high visibility and frequent presentations to Brand and Sales leadership, making it essential for shaping the Global Gorilla portfolio strategy. The ideal candidate will serve as a thought leader, driving strategic brand initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence within the organization.

  • Identify and create a vision for future category expansion for the Gorilla brand in partnership with the Chief Brand Officer.
  • Lead planning and implementation efforts for category expansion.
  • Enroll key stakeholders and lead recommendation plans through Global Brand LT and GLT.
  • Develop recommendations for new category programs from idea/concept to discovery and development.
  • Partner with consumer insights to develop appropriate consumer research activities.
  • Build preliminary Go-to-Market plan for new categories, incorporating input from regional stakeholders.
  • Inspire and lead cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Influence customer teams with thought leadership in brand positioning, consumer insights, and innovation best practices.
  • Work with regional brand teams to develop and analyze their regional masterplans.
  • Aggregate regional masterplans into a global masterplan and develop recommendations for the Global Leadership team.
  • Assess overall innovation funnel and pipeline health.
  • Partner with technical functions on relevant projects and manage the NPD process.
