About The Position

The Associate Director of Finance at Illumina plays a crucial role in providing strategic financial support to the Clinical Product Management team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of related experience, with at least 7 years in a management role.
• Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish rapport across various functions.
• Strong written communication and project management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or other analytics systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial models/business cases to demonstrate market opportunities for new products and potential financial returns over a 5+ year horizon.
• Collaborate with multiple Commercial/Marketing/Finance stakeholders to align on risks and opportunities.
• Lead financial support for Global Clinical Product Management teams in reporting current year sales results and evaluating portfolio investments.
• Support the development and execution of pricing strategies across product lines and regions.
• Serve as a thought partner for Global Clinical Product Management and Portfolio Strategy teams, performing ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Provide finance support and analysis for M&A or partnership deals.
