About The Position

During your full-time assignment, you will be given the opportunity to lead projects to address some of the most significant project challenges facing federal healthcare clients. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals that are willing to develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Associate Directors are responsible for growing a book of business, building trusted client relationships, leading dynamic teams, and delivering transformative project results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in public health, business administration, organizational development, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of total relevant experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience supporting & managing budget and financial functions for a federal agency.
  • Prior experience with budget/financial management tools and/or building dashboards and/or conducting financial analyses
  • Ability to work independently but with limited oversight from management.
  • Excellent program/project management skills with demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across a range of projects.
  • Experience supporting Federal Business Development.
  • Experience executing and overseeing data collection, research, and information finding
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Sharepoint) to analyze data and to guide client and team decision-making
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools to support efficient delivery
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Experience supporting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
  • Experience in: Cost Accounting/Cost Recovery: Demonstrated experience in working capital fund operations, full-cost modeling and rate development, cost allocation, and indirect cost structures.
  • Budget formulation and execution: Developing the agency's annual budget, which includes the use of appropriated funds and user fees and then managing its execution.
  • Financial management: Overseeing financial accountability, internal controls, and financial operations, including payroll and budget execution.
  • Financial analysis: Analyzing cost structures, performance trends, and resource use to ensure budgetary and programmatic goals are met.
