Reporting to the Senior Director of Faculty Affairs, the Associate Director provides critical operational, data, and event management leadership in support of faculty lifecycle processes, governance, and community engagement at Columbia Business School (CBS). The incumbent exercises independent judgment and professional discretion in overseeing faculty lifecycle operations, data integrity, and event execution while ensuring alignment with University policy and CBS governance standards. This position serves as a key role in coordinating essential operational functions for the Faculty Affairs Office ensuring seamless workflows, accurate data management, effective communication, and successful execution of high-quality events that support faculty engagement and recognition. The Associate Director partners closely with divisional administrators, center directors, HR, and the Senior Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs (SVDFA) to advance CBS's goals of consistency, fairness, and transparency in all faculty affairs functions. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and can balance project management, systems coordination, and event execution with professionalism and discretion.
