About The Position
The Associate Director of Experiential Learning & Career Advising develops and implements strategic initiatives involving a broad array of university constituents at Northeastern University's Oakland campus and across the network, designed to enhance community partnerships, design experiential learning opportunities and deliver best in class career preparation. The Associate Director provides daily operational management and oversight, participates in planning, implementing, executing, evaluating career and experiential learning services and supports the growth and scaling of experiential learning engagement for students on the Oakland campus. This position supports service-learning courses, community engaged research, co-op development and other experiential learning opportunities with curricular objectives. The Associate Director serves as a leader and liaison to college leaders in both Oakland and Boston and develops relationships with community stakeholder partners for career and experiential learning. The Associate Director may also provide support and coordination for courses, operations, programs, resources, and services in the Northeastern University ecosystem and provides direct career advising services.
