About The Position
FastForward is a coordinated suite of resources designed to efficiently move technologies from startup to marketplace. Part of Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures (JHTV), FastForward serves as a catalyst for the advancement and commercialization of an array of innovations that are derived both at the University and from collaborative projects elsewhere. The goal of FastForward is to help early ventures increase the probability of realizing their potential and bring innovation and life-changing technologies to market. We are seeking an Associate Director, Entrepreneurship with an extensive background and affinity for startups, offering direct case management for both established startups and newly forming companies. This position is pivotal in representing JHTV within the entrepreneurial ecosystem, engaging with other support organizations to foster a thriving environment for innovation. The Associate Director will work in coordination with a junior program manager to oversee programs that contribute to the formation / growth of startup companies and the support and development of ecosystems around Hopkins, in Baltimore and across the State of Maryland. The Associate Director reports to the Director, Technology Incubation and Acceleration working across her team to support campus innovators and other members of the ecosystem with programs, facilities, and other resources.
