The Associate Director, Engineering, is responsible for leading the Centers of Excellence (COEs) for Plastic Molding and Packaging, serving as the key liaison with R&D Product Development, and supporting the future integration of an Automation COE. This role ensures robust engineering support and technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle from a manufacturing standpoint—from early design and development, post-launch, and sustaining manufacturing engineering optimization. This position drives engineering excellence, manufacturability, cost optimization, and reliability across the Diagnostics Solutions (DS) Integrated Supply Chain. The Associate Director collaborates closely with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to align strategic priorities and ensure seamless integration of new and sustaining engineering initiatives. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Manufacturing Integration and COEs, this role provides technical leadership, fosters innovation, and builds capabilities that enable DS’s product performance, cost effectiveness, and engineering manufacturing excellence.
