About The Position

The Associate Director / Director, Global Forecasting will be responsible for commercial forecasts for BioNTech's key Oncology assets and will play an important role in developing patient-based models, enabling more robust, data-driven insights to better inform strategic decisions across the organization. This person will be part of the best-in-class high-performing team with great visibility to the senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in quantitative discipline; also advanced degree preferred in business administration, statistics, or another relevant field
  • 8+ years of commercial forecasting, valuation and related experience
  • 5+ years of Global Oncology commercial forecasting experience preferred
  • Strong forecast modeling (Excel/Excel VBA, data analysis) and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience working with oncology across multiple tumor types
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate analytics into actionable business insights

Responsibilities

  • Build and "own" Global commercial forecasts for company's key pipeline and BD&L assets
  • Develop and maintain patient-based models, with appropriate analytic capability support for early assets and launch brands across multiple Oncology indications.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional team, including Global marketing, Global market access, US forecasting, Clinical Development and Supply chain teams
  • Serve as a center of excellence, providing expert epidemiological data and disease area consultation to cross functional teams.
  • Frame and translate complex patient flows into simplified model approaches.
  • Perform secondary data analytics to create robust, aligned forecast assumptions.
  • Recommend market research and secondary data analytics needed to better inform key assumptions and scenario planning.
  • Create and present business cases to leadership team as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects in an extremely fast-paced environment
